ABOUT THE PASTRY BAKER
My name is Anita Cook
I am the Pastry Baker for Cakes Unleashed!!
I grew up in a large family where cooking and baking was an all day occurance. My mother, Mary, cooked and baked from scratch, and I, being the oldest girl of six children, was always in the kitchen assisting with the meal and dessert preparations.
Throughout the years, I taught my two daughters to cook and bake and we've had plenty of fun being creative with our recipes.
I live in beautiful Plumas County and have recently retired from the medical industry in order to pursue my passion for baking and to care for my dear elderly mother. When my daughter, Deborah, approached me with this venture, I knew it was going to be challenging but also rewarding. So, here I am, baking my little heart out and sharing my creations with others. What could be more fun?
